Hello new friend!

Nice to meet you and thanks for checking out our blog. My name is Kayla Merwin. I am a wife to my sweet husband, Matt, and mama to my baby girl, Emma Rae, and fur baby, Finn. I love Jesus a lot and give glory to God for the blessings in my life. I was born and raised in the charming town of San Clemente, California where we still reside. Matt and I have been married for over three years and Emma was born in August of 2016. We are the crazy people who decided to buy a house, get a puppy, and have a baby in the same year! What were we thinking?! I will tell you a little more about that in posts to come.

I have always been easily excited and get passionate about small things like coffee (duh), a good movie, a hard Barre workout, or a cute cafe. I love chatting with friends and strangers about all kinds of things which has led me here! Of course, my new and favorite passion is all things BABY! I am thrilled to share my experiences through pregnancy, delivery, postpartum, and being a new madre. If anything, I hope you find this blog encouraging and relatable as we discuss a variety of topics.

Shannon and Sammy are the BABEST madres I know. Going through pregnancy, delivery, and first time mommyhood with them has been the sweetest gift! I am so thankful for all the conversations we have had, questions bounced off each other, laughs shared over “spilt milk”, and tears of joy, stress, and exhaustion. We believe it is so important to have other moms to talk to and lean on. We hope this blog brings a sense of comradery and helps equip you in your journey through motherhood.
